Summer (IP)

Sun shining brightly high in the cloudless blue sky

Everywhere bustling with excitement and people enjoying the heat

Sun cream is lathered on for protection against the sun

Some of us go brown, while others just burn

Children playing happily, screaming and splashing in the pool

The tortoiseshell cat lazes in the sunshine watching them play

Neighbours singing to their music, while preparing a barbeque

Dad is filling up water guns,  preparing for a battle

Mum enjoying an ice cold drink before it begins
