Another Way.

In the town where I live, people have become very creative. Some people just sit outside shops and beg, it has been done that way for years. Some have held babies in their arms, others have had their dog with them. A man recently asked me, "Can I have some money to feed my dog?" His little dog looked well fed to me.
In a very busy part of town, a man stands in the middle of a dual carriageway, and when the lights change to red, he walks up and down, with his empty coffee cup in his hand. I sometimes see a driver call him over and put something in his cup, before the lights change to green.
Recently, at another Very Busy part of town, a gentleman has done something different, I suppose I would say creative. There are five lanes of one way traffic, all rushing towards the lights before they change to red. The man is standing in the MIDDLE of the road, with an empty coffee cup in his hand and his walking stick in his other hand!
Surely this must be against the law. It is SO dangerous, for no driver knows he is there, untill they are about 10 yards from the lights. I have been there in the dark too and seen him myself, he is wearing dark clothes, us drivers have had to swerve, to avoid hitting him.
Even in this dangerous spot, he gets given money. It should not be encouraged really. Personally, I think it is another way to commit suicide! The sad thing is, it will not be fair to the driver.

the begger-per-square mile
the begger-per-square mile ratio has gone up enormously in recent years. It's normal now.

Interesting he chose ASDA where the customer are less well off
Maybe the have more empathy for poor unfortunates.
I imagine Tesco security guys would (rather roughly from my experience) kick him out. Not sure what Sainsbury would do, but I imagine Waitrose would be a waste of time since their customers are unlikely to spare one penny of their fat incomes.

Beggars belief, literally!
Beggars belief, literally! Worldly mismanagement of wealth distribution and failure to provide basic provisions to people.
