Bus Pass [and BPL] are Together Again

Bus Pass often thought of themselves as ‘Patsy’ to BPL’s ‘Edina’; constantly by her side, encouraging prodigal ways.  Bus Pass sometimes prayed to Omnibus, god of all bus passes, that BPL would book the £1 Megabus to Edinburgh, where the blessèd Harvey Nix lives.  BPL reckoned you could fly to Egypt quicker than bussing to Edinburgh, but Bus Pass kept the faith.  One fine day, they’d pilgrimage to Harvey Nix.  Amen.

Whenever BPL thought of Bus Pass having a voice, which, worryingly, was happening more and more often, she thought of Richard Briers circa ’The Good Life’; utterly selfish, utterly charming.  BPL had had a crush on him, back in the day, and still wished her fringe would sit like Felicity Kendal’s did. 

So, when BPL was ranting and raving about choosing the wrong ‘Simply food’ to have a cherry red thermal top clicked and collected from, Bus Pass’s ears pricked up.  BPL had wanted to drive to some standing stones on the way to ‘Simply food’ Inverurie, but because of swithering over something she called ‘spend’, hadn’t completed the order.  Caving-in, later that morning, though Bus Pass did agree, the thermal top was a lovely shade of red, BPL forgot to click Inverurie instead of Elgin.  When the ‘your order is here’ email came, BPLs order wasn’t here, it was there.

It is a matter of some regret to Bus Pass that standing stone circles are mostly unbusspassable, but that’s the Picts for you.  They were circling in the PBP era though (pre-bus-pass).  Nevertheless, Bus Pass felt slight schadenfreude at BPL losing her Elgin marbles.

BPL was super-reluctant to go to Elgin "AGAIN!", and shuffled the Tarot deck instead;

Moon, reversed; face negativity head-on.

BPL grabbed Bus Pass, and yanked on her thermal tights before you could say, ‘keepyourkneeswarmonthebus’.
