I CAN'T DO IT WITHOUT YOU

Can't live without you,
For it feels too hard;
Like a fallen fridge,
Upon softened lard.
Can't eat without you,
For I feel put off;
Like trying to work,
Through someone's loud cough.
Can't rest without you,
For it feels too cold;
Like an ice-filled hat,
On someone who's bald.
But feeling lonely,
And aching with need,
I do without you,
Very well indeed.
