Once there was loneliness.
Once there was emptiness.
There used to be sadness.
Then there was loveliness.

When loveliness appeared,
It shone light on love's mess.
It eased away heartache,
It healed the painfulness.

Loveliness brought kindness,
Its gorgeous warmth was strong,
For loveliness was you.
Thank God you came along.
