WRITEAHOLIC

I am a writeaholic.
That could possibly be true,
For I don't want to stop it;
I feel like I'm compelled to.

Some people just might believe,
That what I write is drivel.
But when ideas come to me,
I've got to write down them all.

Am I being moved to write,
Or is writing moving me?
For it clasps and takes over,
And flows uncontrollably.

It's some kind of compulsion,
Maybe it's an addiction;
My lasting relationship,
With fantasy and fiction.

I take journeys with writing,
To as far as I can go.
I am a writeaholic.
There could be worse habits though.
