Introductions

You seem a bit confused and not sure what you see,

I think that you're still trying to work me out,

Let me take a moment to just introduce "me"

We missed that introduction there's no doubt!

You seem a bit bewildered and a little perplexed,

That's okay for I can understand,

For so long you weren't sure what I'd do next,

Yet here I am so grounded on dry land.

You seem a bit surprised and I know you question why,

What has changed to make me feel so well,

The answer is simple...the new dose you let me try,

Although I know that only time will tell.

You seem a bit unsure and a little skeptical,

This wasn't what you thought that you would see,

You see my behaviour is quite respectable,

I'm maybe not the case you thought I'd be.

You seem to have some faith like you're starting to believe,

I'm not someone who wants to be unwell,

I'll fight to hell and back to find my own reprieve,

And I will have a story I can tell.

We've had our introductions and I'm glad you have met,

The side of me the others didn't see,

I hope that we are finding a true mutual respect,

I'm much more than you thought I would ever be.
