Have you heard the whisper,
the whisper of the wind?
Have you heard it?
It comes behind you, and
once or twice, you sense it,
just behind your neck, just behind
your ear, a gentle prickling, just a
surreptitiousness, a kind of a
very, very quiet 'phoo',
like someone's there.
And look around
and there is no one.
Have you heard the whisper of the wind?
Have you heard it? It comes just
once, just once or twice; it comes
when you have done that thing
that thing
you know you should have done
long ago,
long, long ago – have
you heard?
Have you heard it?
