I've made these
boats
-sweat and blood
built some large
some small
some that don't
balance right-
capsize in water
watercolour wounds
spill out,
I've used my hands;
moulded the
white-ashes
of once proud trees,
studied a course
on origami,
I've tested the
water, my feet
trying to float
in tornado
waves
to make way for
you.

I agree with FB, Beeme. This has a real 'modernistic' feel to it. Well done;-)
