Dish of the day
1 Jesus: 'Blessed are the poor.'
2 Hitler: 'Blessed are the Nazi storm troopers.'
3 Thatcher: 'Blessed are the rich.'
Boil 1 part Jesus to 3 parts Hitler and 3 parts Thatcher*
(*Margaret Thatcher tastes nippier.)
Cook until you can see an economic policy. Fling in some rumour about poor people: 2 parts blame to 1 part economic policy mantra. Leave it to simmer at Mansion House. Serve cold, on a dish of good business practice.

Very true. More Nigella's dad than Nigella, of course.

Nigella's dad being the
Nigella's dad being the person who I suppose G Osbourne has pin-ups of on his wall from those Thatcher days. Nothing to do with man boobs of course, although he looked like the sort of chap who might have had an impressive set (apologies if I've put anyone off their food ...).

Celt, you old cynic you.
Celt, you old cynic you. Politicians, like rats, are best eaten warm. Will look out for the Celticman cookbook alongside Nigella's. Liked this.
