the ring of truth

We knew too much of life
How to act
How to react
Kick your cunt in
Extraordinary stroke of luck
What the fuck?
See – you looking at me?
Up until then
I was without a friend
Wait and see
I don’t – not trust - see
A dreamy literary type
Faux-adult face
Never been binned
Never been twinned
Drugs - whey ho
Away we go
We got a mite – involved
You gave me a fright
Inner growth our obsession
Ego died on wings of depression
Surrounded by thoughts of you
Sacred site of memory
Baffled adolescence rose like the dead
With less of the dread
I have no idea
The reason I’m still here
You grappled some kind of truth
The other side of happiness
An experience too intense
Always in the present tense
Laugh when you can
Boy growing to man
Folie a deux?
Fuck yeh – love you.

Something sad, like a sense
Something sad, like a sense of loss floating through this poem. The folie a deux idea is so intriguing. What becomes normal when you live so closely with another. makes me think of young men looking scary on the outside and sensitive on the inside.

Hi CM
Hi CM
I don't really know what to say about this, but I did read it. It makes me uncomfortable.
