I hereby swear, to cast my light,
Upon the swirling sea,
To beckon those lost in the night,
To stray away from me.
For silent rocks lurk out of sight,
Beneath my watchful eye,
Where careless souls receive invite,
To take their final sigh.
So now this oath is mine to be,
On lonely nights to brave,
Deliverance of those at sea,
Who journey on its wave.

Hi DP Connell.
I really like structured poetry and I enjoyed this particularly.
I wasn't sure about the following line, though.
'Where careless souls receive invite'
