Reverie

Black lit streets
With dimmed down lights
Nothing but a peep
From a curious eye
Head turns left
And head turns right
I lay down
And look up at the night
Constellations align
And words combine
A silence so deadly
Even for you, and I
With hands entwined
And skies so high
A dream of ours
To keep alive
And unsaid words
Begin to rise
We look at each other
Beamed wide eyes
Is this a dream?
With words so wise
I hope it is
So this never dies
And when comes morning
The sun will rise
But until then
We lay in a grass-made bed of disguise
So lets say this
With no denies
Lock me in your heart
As we say our goodbyes
Then blue turns black
Our stinging red eyes
Laughter approaching
With no distance of size
Moments like a movie
But without the nobel prize
And soon you drift
As I begin to arise
A dream so vivid
I could never deny
I wish to have known you
And for you to know I
Because now I can't forget you
You're etched in my mind.
