And through the door you came,
I noticed your feet remained shod.
Did you look at stained glass
and feel offence at the figurative?
Thank God, I said, Thank God,
that the mass is not for the masses,
that so few come, so few believe.
For you are a true believer,
I believed that you believed,
as you held the knife at my throat.
And through the door you came,
I noticed that you called on your god.
Do you think he watched you
and felt offence at your blasphemy?

You're certainly not without
You're certainly not without words, Ewan. I like the understated way it begins, then builds to the chilling ending.
Great interpretation of the latest atrocity in France.
