There is no point, unless you know
a probable outcome. There must be some
prove-able theorem and although
your results may be unexpected -
you should not simply throw
in chemicals at random, for any outcome
will prove absolutely nothing.
There is no verse without some craft
and meaningful choice and credible voice
to make poetry and not some daft
and facile, pathetic doggerel.
You should not simply waft
an adopted voice over a metaphor of choice
to write some meandering drivel.

Do I feel like this? I read
Do I feel like this? I read so many poems on here that are precisely as you describe them. Poetry is difficult - it's a real craft. Just look at the number of cherried poems compared with the number of cherried stories - and yet there are probably more poems that stories submitted.
Work at it you poets!
