Bottomless blue

Enveloped in the bottomless blue,
this motion is familiar,
every cell engages,
every frequency attunes.
The bodies rhythm at peace
laps and laps..
undulates effortlessly.
Here we are at the beginning,
hiding from time,
from scornful eyes,
before we wake
before we are born.
We are bathed and washed,
rocked close to the heart.
Many pearls are buried in the bed beneath us.
Many faces watch and feet run beyond the surface above us
but here we are held
and time has no meaning.
Here we are staying
because it doesn't matter what we're thinking
or if we're rising or sinking
or making our mark.
Measuring is of no use here.
We are safe,
protected,
rocked to serenity,
cradled effortlessly,
not even afraid of the abyss we are in,
for to this rhythm we are feeling we will always belong.
This I know that you know too
when i am in here with you.
Hiding and bobbing, floating and rising,
feeling our way through the bottomless blue.
