I'm not familiar with the haiku form, and sometimes find the intensity difficult to access and follow, but this seemed a lovely little compostition focussing to those memory albums and reels locked away in our brains. Rhiannon

Simple Haiku is 5 -7 - 5 (beats):

In/fant in pin/k
1 2 3 4 5
Nan/na/’s care/ful loop/ing
1 2 3 4 5 6 7
knit/s mem/or/y
1 2 3 4 5

Tanka is usually 5 -7 -5 -7 -7 with references made to a season and the weather.
