Happy Girl

Most of the time I'm a happy girl,
I smile and laugh, full of excitement,
But sometimes I'm not, my life becomes a swirl,
Of tears, fears and disappointment.

Sometimes I act happy just to hide the hurt,
Crying within smiling without,
Acting like I feel good, when in fact I feel like dirt,
But don't worry, don't pout...

I'm mostly a happy individual,
Bouncy, loud and fun,
I almost always say hello, for me it's habitual,
And now that that's been said, my poem is done.
