Stick to your Mums

You’re all invited to sit down and have a quick lil’ listen,
To the troubled young soul, lost the one he was kissin’,
May have been suggested that it was no more,
But only this time that you ask, not the hundred before,
What shook many worlds was met with just an “Oh dear”,
Then have audacity to tell me it’s okay to be queer,
But this queer situation is still uncharted for me,
I’m really flustered and broken, not that you’d see.
I’m too selfless to be one of the corporeal leavers,
But it frustrates to know, you didn’t notice the fever,
Full conversations a privilege, so we need a fixation,
For this ADD mind to give its full concentration,
Got the fear of an elephant but just not the memory,
It’s just a date on the calendar, so why does it get to me,
You’re the person who made so that I came along,
So tell me why you’re fuel to me writing this song.
Blood is thicker than water, that’s what’s causin’ the pains,
Got the baking soda in me cause you’re vinegar veins,
Small jokes shouldn’t be work for the cogs and the pistons,
We have a ten second rule for when you call in the distance,
The absurdity of it should surely be noticed,
But the wiser of two isn’t really the oldest,
Though I sit in my room and listen to emo bands,
Doesn’t lessen the truth that she don’t understand.
