The shadows are lengthening in the afternoon sun, only A and B remain on the poolside loungers.
B covered up now, wearing sarong, oversize headphones leak Ibiza style House.
A’s dress sense slighty off, OK the linen jacket is Austin Reed but the sleeves up Miami Vice style…
The music from the head phones is audible only as overflow from the headphones – this scene goes on for a long time, B moving along to her own sounds.
Eventually A puts down his Robert Harris novel.

B NODDING ALONG , SLIGHTLY TO THE MUSIC

B HEADPHONES OFF FOR FIRST TIME Sorry you were saying?
A Nothing.

B Just being polite, making conversation, mint place. ‘ Course if you’d rather not.

THEY FACE EACH OTHER. EVENTUALLY SHE RESUMES.
