On the edge (incognito)

I'm off to live a poet's life
I have a torch and
Dictaphone
A voodoo note pad on my
porch
And self-inflating desktop
clone
I'm mainly focussed on
humanity
Up, close is where I'll
be
On the knife edge of
portrayal
Incognito,
s-e-c-r-e-t-l-y
Popping in on
raucous
To decipher trigger
point
Defrocking the corrupt
As
the blameless
Take
anoint
Sampling depravity
In
every shape and guise
Wherever there is
gravity
Its peak I will
surmise
I'm laterally
inclined
And own an everlasting
pen
All will be defined
I have a
well worn grasp of zen
My rucksacks ready
packed
With sarnies, plasters and a
rope
My destination?
Coast to
coast
My hamster?
I guess he'll
have to cope
With an earthy heart and
purpose
All that matters I'll
allay
My husband?
Never
natters
He won't know I've been
away
