Treachery

Canvas grazes ground
Treachery festoons the air
Shadow spheres behind
Cutting the blue
With seamstress precision
Petite fingers coil the twisted
Remains of a previously pink coat
Eyes remnant of
Secluded Sundays
Temper ground
Questions vie, countered
By spectacle and mood
Scuffed linen echo's break-times play
Aided and abetted
By the grate of brick on heel
She, opposed to pavement
Mimics each footfall
Adjacent to a new friend
Spicule glares detonate
Returning between each
Sman fired
There's no repose
No reparation
Silence passes amoung us
Filling your extreme
Like a bubble
Explosion is imminent
Finally, you burst
Exorcising each barb
I add liniment
Preaching natures way
Smoothing deficiency
We finish with a smile
Knowing there will be
Many times like this
Treachery has her season
But swiftly moves on
