By little bear

A sun filled day never seems quite right for a funeral, but there we were shading our eyes from the sun -or death.
A simple box lowered into the earth, prayers too hurried too quietly said.
We might of hugged or kissed this man in life-yet were awkward with just words now that he was dead.
Feet on gravel turning away, quiet conversation 'yes he was good-and kind'
A nervous laugh, stiffled, from his brother, who knows that he will not be long behind.

Another good one and not at
Another good one and not at all sentimental. A tiny typo for you to correct:
"We might of (have) hugged or kissed this man in life."
