High Stepping

Jumping the gun in front of everyone , it’s a long run .

There’s no set rule , its really cool with the stadium full

Setting the pace as they give chase on a three legged race .

My secret weapon , is high stepping until the race is won

High stepping it and swinging the hip just letting it rip .

The corners are cut with my eyes shut, I’m running amuck 

High stepping, starting to climb , fists flying everything’s fine.

Mile after mile , still in front , meanwhile high stepping in style  

     Still high stepping can’t stop the hop ,  I’m on the giddy up .

No time for slacking or packing it in , I’m high stepping

Starting to unwind , double time speed , running to the  line.

High stepping and I’m first past the post that’s what I love most .

 What do you reckon , isn’t high stepping really cracking  .
