 Melbourne’ Trip

Its a place called Melbourne where the journey is set ,

where it might rain sometimes but it never gets wet .
It's that very same place where you’ll come to  no harm ,

caught up in the magic here of an old world charm .

On a bus we came from the airport yesterday.

 where today is gone and tomorrows in the way .
Slated pavements from the past for our feet to tread ,

with trams on the road ,
with a hook line to rethread , 
passengers and traffic on a cool afternoon .
The flowers of summer are still softly in bloom .

It’s a colourful show  and it’s all going free

Melbourne is a in city with many things to see.
Lips are all a quiver for a tasty cuisine ,
so much colourul entertainment here to be seen .
