Ambition

When I was in grade school, I dreamt of becoming a published author someday. I wanted readers to admire my words. I wanted to speak to them in a voice that could sound like their own. I wanted to be their educator who can talk to them when they are ready for the lesson. Now that I am 25, I laugh as I look back. I became a teacher who teaches Writing. And I again have this dream-- I dream that my students will become published authors someday.
