Trees

In the morning,
They stretch out their branches,
And they let the sun shine through them,
The birds come to sing,
About the trees majestic surroundings.
When the rain showers the trees
And then the sun comes out
Their branches glitter like diamonds
Their roots go deep
Deep into the Earth
When the rain comes
The Earth sucks up the water
And the roots drink it all up
Then the trees become strong
Strong like Gods
In the evening
The trees get ready to sleep
They close their branches
To keep in the warmth
The birds stay cuddled within
Within the tree’s branches
