Innumerable tragic parts
How can you stand and look like that?
As though nothing’s going on
Planning your various futures
Pretending to enact them
Go and play among your dreams
Tomorrow you’ll be busy
You’ll forget that we had words

Forgetting is the knack, whereby
Life limps gamely on
