Brightness in the dark

It was a breezy night,
As I treaded by,
Under the dim light,
Along the shore.

I could hear the waves,
gently whispering,
their beautiful story,
to the rocky lining.

The deep blue ocean,
Seemed dubiously calm,
the outstretching horizon,
dispelled my qualm!

My vacillating thoughts,
were lulled to sleep!
The positivity within me,
was eager to reap!

Through the drifting clouds,
the moon gave a peek.
The serenity endowed me,
with the solace I seek!

The star studded sky,
smiling at me all while,
neap tides flowing by,
Adorning Her profile!

I gazed at Her for long,
Unwilling to leave!
Inclined to Her song,
I strolled along!

Oh! great Mother nature!
I thank you from my heart,
For showing me the light,
Through this mesmerising sight!
