STRANGE DEFINITIONS
P.K.ROUTRAY
If point has no area no volume and no length,
How can it exist and be represented by man’s intellectual strength?
Line is formed by moving such a point in any direction,
Then line cannot be represented and will only have to be in man’s imagination
Zero is said to denote emptiness and nothingness,
How can man‘s intellect knowledge hold it and show it with such firmness.
Infinite is boundless, limitless and fathomless system,
How human knowledge can bind it by his wisdom?
Are they not strange?
How do we build our empire of logic with such anchorage?
If infinite number of points are put together
Can you imagine whether it will be a void or endless figure?
