The day Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden ate the fruit forbidden,
A feeling called the eternal love sprang up between.
The urge for procreation took in their selves the front seat,
Cupid's flower arrow did the male female outwit.
Love became the prime principle of God's creation,
without which His project would have languished in oblivion.
The master craftsman and architect as God is known,
to keep His creation going, the path of love He has shown.
On 14th February we celebrate the World Valentine's day
when lovers express their love towards each other in befitting way.
Young men and women their valentines choose,
promising life time's togetherness, the bond never becoming loose.
Though in India the idea is borrowed from the west,
Nevertheless it has gained ground and observed with jest.
Our wishes offered for the valentines for this glorious day,
Never ever in their lifetime from each other get separated they.

Hey Valentine! Hey saint! Hey Bishop! We salute you,
for uniting soldiers in secret with their beloveds you bade to your votaries unceremoniously adieu.
This world is strange which gives recognition to a great man after his death,
but mistrusts and misunderstands till his last breath.
you are great and special for the gaiety of the day,
You violated the law and were killed but ensured the glory of love to stay.
The word beloved is a mystery to this writer,
Is he or she only a loved one without reciprocating the lover?.
As to your secret marriage of soldiers, we are so far not sure, whether this was executed based on one sided love or on a barter as the proof is not clear.
Love exists in many forms and among them conjugal love is the princess,
Here both partners have to agree and reciprocate unlike other loves hence it is the source of blissful success
Also perhaps this form of love cannot exist without reciprocating,
as only both can get bliss when their souls are in union and binding.
Hey Valentine! You are sued, blamed for going out of law and scriptural sanction and you werekilled for your deeds,
But you are remembered this day by boys and girls for enjoying bliss of love sown by you in them as seeds.
