Jupiter Energy

Farring absolutely Niente is all very well, but there comes a point where a gal just has to get out into the fresh air.  If only to buy more fat balls for midnight robin and the Russian blackbirds.  Read that the blackbirds come over from Russia each winter.  I hope it’s true. They enjoy a Rowan berry, and are in the process of stripping the trees across from the kitchen window.  Does the colour of the berries remind them of home? Those beautiful red stars on the Kremlin, that light up at night.  Went to St Petersburg, on holiday a good few years ago, just for a week, such a beautiful city.  Scottish architect; you’re welcome. 

Watched the re-opening of Norte Dame Cathedral.  What an amazing feat to have achieved in just five years.  Thousands of skilled people involved, including Russian clockmakers, who rebuilt the clock workings, from a similar one found nearby.  It’s the size of a car.

Macron aligning himself with every King of France and historically significant figure, up to and including Napolean, aside, it was a moving ceremony.  This too is in the world.  This is what people can achieve.  Great that they applauded the fire service and workers who were all part of the story too.  Even Quasimodo got a mention. 

When the bells rang out, it felt wonderful.  What must it have been like to be there? 

Been very cold here, the last few days, leftover gales overnight.  There is something so cosy about being in the kitchen late at night, wind howling outside, silent as a secret inside.  Like something wonderful is happening.  All that big, bright Jupiter energy.  “I just know that something good is going to happen”.
