On December Nights in 1973
Our mum, she loved
Marks & Spencer.
She'd always say,
"Ohh.You can't beat
them for quality.
For value!"
Every Christmastime:
Our
Talc,
Socks, Ties,
Cologne, Pants,
Biscuits, Chocolates,
Tangerines, Fairy Lights,
Nice Crackers,
Cards,
Kisses.
All under the tree.
She would place the cards on the mantelpiece.
They were for and from people we had never heard of.
Dear Terry and Julie
Merry Christmas!
From
Beryl Reid and Brian Clough
Yes. She loved Marks & Spencer.
She was a brilliant shoplifter,
our mum.

"Yes, Marks & Spencer" the only Christmas cards we get is from Clicks and a calender from Frank's Cafe. Both of us have given up smoking so it's not the little cigars either. Still some other text messages that's about it.
Wonder if peoples have forgatten us, may be?
Cheers! Sober always! Tom
