By Candle's Glow

It's
that
time
of year
when
spells
are weaved
on those
tiny faces,
In
every town
and
city,
a
smile
that
portrays
the
coming
weeks
and
days
are full of
whispered secrets
by candle's glow,
hidden gifts whose shapes
are wrapped will soon be
discovered beneath a tree of twinkling lights.

This does bring nostalgia,
This does bring nostalgia, not so much personal, but a feeling that generally how much children in our 'rich' lands are losing the thrill of simple presents that bring so much more joy, especially if the family aren't put under financial burdens by them and have more time for 'family happy time', and where there is real poverty, so many still feel their children need those expensive, passing toys.
The shape of the candle/tree was clever'! Rhiannon
