Imagine Focusing

Sitting in garden with eyes shut tight,

breathing deeply while enjoying

meditating on a beautiful scene.

 

Tall mountains stand naked;

but for the glistening snow

topped peaks, looking down

upon gowns of green forest,

 

as I sit here on bank of lake,

reflections focusing on other

dimensions; images of soft

spirits speaking in gentle

tones,

 

drifting ripples; slow moving

shafts of light silently snaking

twisting curves, till moon casts

shadows on my enlightened

quest for serenity...in hush of

starry night.

I think the first few lines set the scene perfectly on this visual, serene meditation. I was right there with you, Jenny. Paul :)

I've been trying to meditate each day for about 30 minutes, just letting my mind wander where it wants, it's amazing how quickly time flies, but the breathing helps, while listening to the birds sing, it's very tranquil, that's until the road works begin at the bottom of our road, but they usually finish by about 2pm, so I try and sit outside late afternoon.

I'm glad you enjoyed and I could take you to the mountains and lake. Thank you so much for letting me know.
