Gather consistency

of beams teased into

crystals hanging

reflective...see how

they tremble as

rainbows slink across

sheltered walls,

transmitting strokes of

blended calm.

 

Then! Take that

twilight glimmer,

when souls hear

frenzied caw of crow,

silent moon takes

centre stage and levity

becomes a hush where

stillness gathers.

 

Those weary sleepers

satisfy imagination...

liaison with other worlds,

while the poet incubates

next creation, at night

when easier to hatch the

gratifying written word.

Night time hatching after the stillpoint....poet time! Recipe of daydreams to twighlight glimmers, i like the light and levity in the recipe, and the peace and quiet (i have missed that :)

the last stanza of this poem was inspired by Penny4athought's comment about being able to write easier after dark, a process I find easier too.

I'm feeling like I'm in a sacred bubble, which is what inspired this poem too.

LOVE :

You have written about this room before, and you have made it a magic place, so beautiful, uplifting and safe. With the shimmering colours of a bubble, but the stength of a dragon's egg. I really liked "frenzied caw of crow" as they do sound frenzied! and this is a great contrast after the first part. And then the change of pace again when others are on "liaison with other worlds" (what a great way to describe dreams!) the egg hatches.

How you create such wonderful intense images and feelings without leaving your house, shows the richness of your spirit!

Hello Di,

you're right I have written about our conservatory where I hang crystals in the windows, when the sun catches them, all these rainbow colours bounce around the walls as the air catches them and the crystals spin. 

I'm always amazed at how much you understand my poems and your indepth clarity is always spot on.
