For The Best

If I break my promise
Will you break my nose
If I stand here naked
Would you burn my clothes
If I choose to bleed
Will you stem the flow
If I ask you to stay
Will you still go
If I promise to change
Will you think it’s true
If I stop being me
I still can’t be you
Maybe this kind of love
Is not what we thought
If I said I was not for sale
Would you still think me bought
Our life seems to me
A pointless race to war
We are together
But we don’t know what for
So shall we agree
To a farewell kiss
And wait for years
To see what we missed
I’m staring out the window
Of a train heading west
Somehow convincing myself
It’s for the best…

When love becomes frosty
When love becomes frosty there's only one thing to do and you summed it up in this poem perfectly.

Tough decision, but I guess
Tough decision, but I guess once you've made it there's no point in regret.
