EU Circus of Deceit

I’m no professor

Nor an expert in law

I don’t trust politicians

Who are ok with war

I am not a patriot

Nationalism is not for me

Boasting about isolation

Is not asking to be free

I’m saddened by the sight

Of Refugees fleeing

I’m sickened by the plight

Of my fellow human beings

I’m incensed by the cruelty

Of politicians moral decay

Who blame the dispossessed

For getting in their way

Money is the lifeblood

Of those who are dead inside

Democracy long since gone

No one knows when it died

So go on cast your vote

For whoever lies the least

Whether you leave or stay

You can’t tame the corporate beast

Europe is just a small part

Of a planet on its knees

Crippled by the greed and hate

Of capitalisms disease
