The Ocean of Life

How easy is it to sail through life?
The Great Ocean of our Dreams and Expectations
Impossible -
Unless you are devoid of emotion and feeling -
Each one of us born out of love or lust!
Must be -
Or are a product of humanity
In all that humanity is or holds -

How deep is hurt felt?
So deeply as to with-hold your dreams and sadden your expectations of life

The road is long and arduous
The gap between us widens with each breath each of us take
With each word that is spoken in anger or jest

Are we not accountable for our words?
Thoughts are always with us and forever there in our minds and being
Speak only of good
Speak only of bad
Does not negate the inbetween...

Breath unto me Life..
And all I believe life to be
Love, compassion, emotion, depth of character,
laughter and sorrow
What more to ask?

The sweet kiss of love, forever enduring forever?

Be with me always - Life's good and bad
For without them
The cold encompassing grave is the end
