Standing Still

standing here i falling fast
nothing to hold on when i think about the past
i was there but it went so fast
see the date to day and 20 years have past

i remember the sunshine the fun we had
you use to run around after me and i shout
"catch me if you can "
the day were hot laying in the sun
we scream
"we dont want this day to end"

but then the winter came
and out paths broke up.
the winter was hard
we woke up one day and it was th end of us.

But....over the years we catch up
we would say how your new love
we never touch
oh no that would be too much
i know if i touch you
i never let you go

i know 20 years have past
i saw you today
and held you in my arms
we look into eachother eyes
and we knew
we talk and were honest about what we already knew.
The you look at me and said i have to leave and then you flew.
