( A tribute to the destitute )
Welcome all,
migrants, adventurers, destitute.
This land belongs to noone.
These cliffs, these calcite forms,
these ancient mariners marooned,
once had only their shells for homes,
arrived here many moons ago.
Neanderthal she walked freely across the channel,
probably in a good mood.
