I swim in your eyes
Not something I thought
Could be literally true
But it was all I could do
To keep my senses coherent.

The sensation of falling
Beautifully, helplessly
Into a silo of gossamer.
Your eyes, for long moments
Are my whole world:
Gilded. Timeless.

Thanks, julie I love the word gossamer - first noticed it in an old Cole Porter song - 'A trip to the moon on gossamer wings'. Hard to avoid cliche when writing love poetry. A bit late now, will check out your stuff when next online.
