In Riding an Airplane (An autobiography)

I rode a lot of vehicles. From jeeps, to cars, to bicycles, to trains, subway trains, a boat, a ship, a kayak...a lot of vehicles.
But if there's one vehicle that I long and want to ride, it would be an Airplane.
To ride an airplane is hard especially on a country like mine. The philippines. Some people here don't have enough money to afford a plane ticket (well, i'm not saying anything bad here if i offended anyone). Well, lucky for me.
I was to go to the US territory island of Saipan where my father works as a Hotel Employee. I was supposed to study the rest of my school years there, and they told me I could get there by riding a ship but I prefer the plane since it's faster than a ship and how I long to ride that man made machine!
So on thursday morning, I went to the airport. I actually have forgot what plane it was and what flight i belonged to because i was just so excited in riding that bird like flying thing.
As i step inside, I was greeted by the stewardess who rudely asked me where was my guardian. Well, I rudely told her that I can travel ALONE. And, I didn't break any rules cause i was of age...
I sat beside the window, with two other filipinos with me.
AT first, I was very nervous. I was gripping the handles of the "armchair" (i don't know what the seats in the plane are called...) and was holding my breath during the takeoff. (In fact, I even fastened my seatbelts...what an ignorant fool i am...)
I didn't eat some food during that two ours flight. I just drank some soda (and yes, i admit, i tried some champagne) and just marveled on the window.
There's nothing new really in riding above the skies. Just the view. Just the beautiful view. Te houses beneath are just like tiny ants...and clouds...those solid looking clouds.
You may hear some children saying that those clouds could catch you if you fall, and during my short time on that plane, somehow i believed them. Because when you see them upclose, you will see that "What if it is really true?" because of their thickness, you could actually say that they could catch you...
I've never seen this beauty before. Because below them, we could always say "The sky is like that." But when you're above them, we could say "The sky is not like this..."
We've learned so much about science. But, while I'm on my seat, I do wonder: What are the clouds? What is the sun? Why is the sky this so much blue, it calms me...it tells me peace...
So this experience i'll never forget in my life. The day i saw the skies...
