Valentines day is here again

Dont it just make you sick

Unwelcome reminder every year

That you're getting no pussy or dick

Slushy cards are in shops

Displays of chocalate and roses

unsubtle ways of trying to get laid

Something like that one supposes

At least the card companies are getting paid

The florists are rubbing their hands

Fools spend their money time and again

Hoping someone will play with their glands 

So here's to you my singleton chums

Raise a big glass of beer and or wine

Think yourself lucky
