Waited a whole day,
for evening to come,
the only moment,
accepted by my candle
to open the eyes
of writing.
I am preparing
the position,
legs crossed,
sited at the table,
ready for work.
No time to spare,
carefully with the ink,
precious as gold,
to me.
First touch of paper,
was scratchy
for my fountain pen
pressed to much,
my bad
for a single letter
Z.

Coming to write is the
Coming to write is the hardest part for me. I've resorted to drafting on my phone as the blank white page is too scary.
Small typo to/too in the fourth last line and was the 'no time to spear' deliberate?
'Open the eyes of writing' is a gorgeous line on so many levels.
