Alices' Cater Wrap

Little Alice Longshanks,
bounded into view,
waved her fun gold bangled arms,
at her cookie cutter crew.
Doughballs at the ready,
trays already greased,
flour dusted surface,
oven temperature increased.
The party's almost starting
but for just one thing;
no one bought the icing sugar
Argggghhh,
Cakes without the bling!
'How lame is that?' said Alice,
'Whatever' said her mates,
'I guess we'll have to improvise,
da boyz are due at eight.'
'I've got some greaseproof paper,
we could always make a frill'
said her flour dusted mother,
'It would still give them a thrill'
'U R kidding' Alice shrieked,
'Frills are just not mean,
my crew will die of horror,
they're almost in their teens'
Thinking fast,
mum saved their face,
with just a bag of sweets;
brightly shone the M&Ms'
on all the girly treats.
