I need to feel my body
the heaviness of tired limbs
the deep ache, the tenderness
of a deep fatigue.
I need to feel a hunger
A black hole in the middle of me
beyond empty, beyond hollow
A craving for food to replenish me
like water on dry soil.
I need to feel your body
taut, heavy, hot
my secret hidden muscles
that clench,
and arch my back,
and curl my fingers
no words, no thoughts, no sounds
just sun warmed earth beneath me
the throb of life within me
your lifeblood, beating time.

I love the honesty in this one, shoe...and the seemingly 'spontaneous' style in which it is written.
Nice one.
