Rain falls through a silver slip-stream of light
embracing golden wings of cattails that hug a mirror of water scented air;
the soul catching a gentle motion of minnows;
circles of dance
held in the love of a wind-swept raindrop.
Early light casts a spell with pebbles that hold the stream at bay
while a lifeline traces the syllables of frost covered puddles.
Shadows play with early morning woodsmoke
grey and black against a cobalt sky;
the stillness of air wordless within angles that hold their breath.
Your physics follows the equations of a soul
with
music that inhabits logic in timeless conversations.
I close my eyes and fall into patterns of autumn leaves
as van gogh smiles from a canvas of lavender fields;
the sun surpassing the motion of angles;
sound breathless against the colour of your eyes.
