The floral pattern
Running along
The café’s upper wall
Resembles you
It mimics your touch

The way the red
Rococo roses
Seem to flirt with the
Corner of the café’s
Worn wall

Reminds me of our
Walk in the park
Last night

Where we talked about
Poetry
Among other things
And you said
You hated rhyme

And I spontaneously
Gave you a kiss
On the lips

Sitting on the park bench
We noticed how
Lovely
The city is at night

The way the lights
Guide our step:

What
Exactly
Are we looking for?
