LIVING LIFE ON A DREAM

I'll be your biker girl riding with the boys
when revving up your engine making lots of noise,
remember the Indian that you bought for me
you were on your Harley, I loved you can't you see?
as I take to the road all on my own
with mobile in pocket I'm hoping you will phone,
I need to feel free holding on together
on the back of your Harley feeling soft leather,
remembering that night the party in the wood,
with your mates laughing is where you stood,
you turned your back on me I wanted to flee
just to be alone with a fleeting memory,
the phone in my pocket started to ring
you made it plain and clear our love was nothing,
you said that I was far too young
I should live my life there's more to come,
I gave my love alone to you
how could you want to be so cruel,
I know deep down what you say is true
but never again will I be anyones fool,
darkness comes when the lights go out
I was a kid no one cared about,
I fell for you on that rainy day
we had our fun then you went away,
If you ever come back into my life
I promise you I'll be your wife,
I'll find my way till you get here
whether miles away have no fear.
